I remember only reading three of the books and was hoping someone could help me remember which ones they were.
(1) A pirate girl is imprisoned in a fort to the southeast, escapes, raises an army and then returns to conquer (also i think owls at some point?)
(2) A riddle / prophecy guiding the plot to the weather vane / loose step in a staircase.
(3) A really long book involving a tyrant from across the seas, A young girl winning an eating contest against a woodland tribe, and a hidden underground chamber from some childhood song.

1. Not sure about that one, you may be thinking of Triss or Mariel of Redwall
2. Riddles and such were pretty common in the books, but I think the only one involving both the weather vane and stone steps is Redwall
3. Pretty sure that one is Lord Brocktree
