Both. I'm tired of women getting off scott free after their marriage is over. It's not always the mans fault, I've seen more couples break up because of the women than I have the men and they're demonized for basically doing nothing. I'm more tired of people bitching about "the sanctity of marriage" when they're on they're 3-6th marriage...yeah, real sacred guys. My husband and I have an agreement that if we end up getting a divorce for whatever reason, we would give each other enough time to find a place and just take what we came with. He'd get the TV, the bed, the xbox, his phone, and his clothes. I get my clothes, my phone, and my laptop. I'm ****** enough to understand that sometimes things don't work out and it's best to just let go than try and make their life hell.

It's just a trap in my opinion. No man should ever do it, I've lost two girlfriends because i said I'd never get married. Sounds mad but i live in Ireland and it's a must for women.

Call this cheesy and hopelessly romantic, but I got married for the love and devotion. I love my husband, I have before we even began dating. We both want to raise a family together- see life we created together grow. No religious reasons and not even for tax, just for the sole purpose of wanting to spend our life together.

I don't believe so it is a legally binding contract. But other normal laws have been thrown out the window in the name of " **** the husband" so who knows.
