Gameboy Raspberry Pi... Heel like I could
The Gameboy will always hold a fond place in my childhood
heart. I have always wanted a Gameboy Light, but they were
never released in the us and the ones on eBay in decent
condition are pretty pricey.
Given that, I built my own.
Running for the first time with the modified
LCD screen
In order tor this project to work, the LCD had to be mommeh to
off or 5 volts. After several failed attempts at Finding a m,
I lucked on it!
Removed the Power regulator and lump soldered to the in
Capacitor. Works like a charm at !
Work all done, firing up with the battery for
the first time
Hound a pretty cheap external battery that puts out
BAMF which should power it tor decent amount of time.
Best Gameboy game?
NES as well...
DOOM? Why not!

Just play it on a GBA SP. They have a working backlight.
