Unpopular opinion incoming: I'd argue any country should only take in the disabled, the elderly and the children. The remaining men should stay in their country and defend it with their lives and the woman should stay to help out as well. Deserting your own country when it needs you most is cowardly. Unless of course there is a very good reason for them not fighting such as no weaponry available or no food/ water. Then again, they can always do factory work in order to gain more supplies or some **** .

i'm quite unhappy about how the crisis is handled, but the whole 'stay and fight' argument is just insanely retarded.
who are they supposed to fight for? The 'moderate' rebels? ISIS? Or maybe do vladi putin a solid and join assads army?

as long as the conflict is not resolved, there will be no end to any of this.
sadly, the whole situation is insanely convoluted.
The US and Turkey have shamefully admitted to sponsoring and arming some of the rebels, and only after their men were bombed to bits by russian troops.
Then there was that whole thing where the turks shot down a russian plane.
So there is a lot of tension between nations about this conflict right now.
And i would wager that most of it is being kept from us.
Something big is going down soon, mark my words.
Might even be WW3, and this one is gonna be so ugly, that you are gonna wish it was only the refugee crisis.
