He said: "Oh, there ain't no rest for the wicked, Money don't grow on trees! I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, And ain't nothing in this world for free."
Its kay, neither am I, I have a minigun called: Jew 'em and goo 'em
I try to save every bullet, making it take as little ammo as possible and the legendary effected added energy damage to the weapon
I think i had Cole duel wielding Mk. 3 and 4. Basically, i found an exploit for unlimited level up medalions or whatever they're called idgaf and maxed every tree out so Mk. 3 and 4 never went obsolete. I got up to Cuntcrusher Mk. 6 with Bull's warhammers though.
Oh, I know what you mean now. Those one-use level up necklaces. I'm glad to see someone else used Cole though, he was really interesting. I had him on bow duty, Iron Bull on greataxe for crowd control, and... I forgot his name, but the sassy gay mage did a lot of lightning and necromancy. I always go dual-wielding rogue whenever a game lets me.
My main party was usually Cassandra, Cole, and the Knight Enchanter chick. For some reason, no matter how I built them up, my other tanks usually didn't hold up as well as Cass for some reason. Cole's backstabs were ridiculous, and I think each individual knife was stronger than most 2h weapons that my tanks used. Knight enchanter for OP lightsaber action. My character was a mage that went down the Necromancy tree simply because it was a school of magic nobody else had at the time (because I never bothered to talk to Dorian for no good reason). I ended up Romancing the Latina chick. Ended up pretty stale lol. I should have just stuck with the Rogue Elf lady.
I have no idea who you mean by the knight enchanter, but I romanced Josephina as well. Not as passionate as I expected from a Latina, but for **** sake, don't tell me you tried to romance Sera. She was such an insufferable cunt, I couldn't stand talking to her whatsoever. I only recruited her for the achievement. If there is ever an option for killing her, I might have to replay the game.
I meant the Black Lady from high-society place (i'm really good with names if you can't tell). And yeah, I did mean Sera. My first choice would be Cass, but I was playing a female character and she doesn't go lez. Sera is willfully ignorant, which is grating for me, but within that I think she was pretty well written. I think it's indicative of a strong personality when not everyone likes a character; as long as they aren't LOL XD LOOK AT ME I'M SO RANDOM. Looking back I should have romanced Solas i think. From what I gather he was the most interesting.
Before we even continue, I just wanna be clear, I'm not picking a fight. I'm genuinely confused and trying to clarify this.
I've only ever seen like... Two undertale posts. If it barely made it to the front page, how can people complain? It's not like when other fandoms cluttered the front page for weeks. And, on that note, I rarely see it in the comment sections either. The only fandoms I ever still see regularly are Fallout and... I don't remember the name, but the one where the girls are named after gemstones.
rarely does an undertale post make it to the front page. that is true.
but people are always just looking for reasons to hate on new fandoms and things in general.
and for some reasons anime, or cartoons are somehow beyond criticism. like you'll get shafted if you so much as imply anime sucks or whatever.
i developed a theory. undertale's biggest problem is that it became too popular, too soon. the biggest turn off for a lot of people when it comes to gaming is how much hype the game recieves all the time. when people said it's the best game this year, everyone just rolled their eyes and thought it's just another ****** hastily built rpg (aka shovelware).
and then after a few weeks of constant content (between 100-700 thumbs usually) people become jaded and annoyed at the constant influx of what they percieve to be a ****** game.
it honestly makes me sad, because i also hated the game for no other reason than the constant posts and comments everywhere i go. and when i finally played the damn thing i was blown away. keep in mind that i played the game just to prove to myself that it's crap
i find that it's now our duty to make the fandom seem a bit less "shoehorny" and a bit more inviting and fun. that includes thumbing down people who try to shoehorn the game into other content. it's just too damn soon.
I have seen some Undertale fan created stuff that has been very cringey, unfortuantely you'll get that with any fandom. Luckily though, the Undertale fandom seems to be more tame hasn't been putting out cringey stuff at the same frequency as other fandoms like FNAF.
Fandom aside, you should try the game out. Best damn game I've played in awhile.
Because it looks like completely random furry *********** to the vast amount of people who haven't played that one particular game to get the reference.
I think this is the primary reason. It looks a whole lot like furry artwork (I think it's a safe bet it came from a furry artist or was posted on a furry-focused site) and people who have not played the game will not get the joke.
undertale is a good game
but if people shoehorn it into everything
then soon, it will be known as
"the fandom that tried to find a way to force itself into everything"
and no one likes that fandom
not even people from that fandom
so please have some mercy
It depends a whole lot. I'd give examples but as I wrote more and more I realized it's almost as complicated as real life because it's all about real people doing real things on the internet, not some work of fiction. Specific instances are much easier to argue and defend then but complex on their own. I don't have the energy to argue a dozen different points, not all of them in my favor.
Furries and MLP are prime examples of people pushing it for sure. Though when the hardcore ponyfags showed up everyone recoiled. People who troll by posting MLP pictures just make it worse.
The way I see it, Undertale is heading in the same direction as FNAF. People borderline worship it for a few weeks, the hype dies down, and then anyone who posts it is autistic or *********** .
the funny thing is, people have been saying "it's gonna die down in a few weeks for like almost 3 months now"
considering undertale is now one of the best games of the year ( based on critic reviews and user reviews on sites like metacritic), i'd say it's gonna stay popular longer than fnaf (which has mixed to somewhat positive scores)
i'm actually surprised at how well behaved the undertale community is being.
they realize that blatant *********** hurts the game and are self policing the retards that do it, as evidenced by a lot of comments here.
I think it might be a new recent trend. Tumblr is still a mess and 4chan exists to be a mess but FJ fans of Steven Universe who go to all three websites say that the fanbase here is, for the most part, being mature and non-cancerous compared to those two websites. The Undertale fandom has taken similar cues and has really only polluted the newest uploads.
What I'm saying is that I think people have learned a lesson from stuff like MLP, "the Dr. Wholock fandom", furries, and more. I've seen a big change in 2015 about this. If it continues we might find that the solution to making fandoms not be cancer is for the people in the fandom to just try not be incredibly annoying about it. As you said about policing itself, I saw the Steven Universe fandom do that and to great success.
Considering that Undertale is probably going to live on as a classic hit comparable to games like Cave Story, I think that this is the start of things that will echo for over a decade.
You mean like everything funnyjunk does? It doesn't really matter what is shoehorned. If funnyjunk likes it, no one will say **** . We have an anime channel, but cringey **** still leaks out of it and no one bats an eyelash. John Cena was ground into dust before we finally let it go, to the point of paranoia. It all comes down to "what does our loudest, whiniest, self important userbase want to see 1000 times a day?" So.... yeah.
Can someone post that black and white animation where a smiley's eyebrows move back and forth in a wave? I know I've seen it around and I think a FJ mod uses it as his avatar but I can't find it.
This character has seven pixels per eyebrow with three pixels of up and down variation. That's just enough for a silly eyebrow wiggle animation.
I know this is completely off topic but the potential is staring me right in the face.
anon, I appreciate you taking the time to voice your opinion to me that my interest in movies differs from your own, despite you only knowing ONE movie I like. I wish you had posted your comment under an account name so I'd feel more of a personal connection to you and we could discuss why you say I have " **** taste" in movies like a pair of intelligent individuals. However, you posted anonymously so unfortunately your comment holds no value to me.
The rare weapon drops have been **** for me lately.
I'm playing on veryhard currently and the past three weapon drops have been "Hunters 'X'"
Got a combat knife that did I think it's +15% damage to animals and creatures, next drop was a machete that did +15% damage to animals and creatures and the next was a hunting rifle that did +15% damage to animals and creatures.
All and all I have about 5 or 6 weapons that do +15% damage to animals and creatures.
I wanna know if this effect stacks.
Like if you have this knife and a bunch of armor pieces that all have 15% damage resistance while standing still.
will this make you almost invincible if you don't move?
**serrikari used "*roll picture*"** **serrikari rolled image** I take 100% less damage by emptying clips before they even get close. Not as efficient but at the end of the day, I still win.
