Pitbulls are actually pretty dangerous. I don't know why people find that hard to understand.

Pitbulls aren't inherently dangerous, but becuase of their physical strength they have historically been used as attack dogs. Thus, they became defined by this feature, and it is a public assumption that they are inherently aggressive-- while some dogs are aggressive, this is less becuase of their inherent behavior, and more do to their training.
