You're right, but the fat is converted into water when needed.

From wikipedia - "Camels do not directly store water in their humps as was once commonly believed. The humps are actually reservoirs of fatty tissue: concentrating body fat in their humps minimizes the insulating effect fat would have if distributed over the rest of their bodies, helping camels survive in hot climates.[16][17] When this tissue is metabolized, it yields more than one gram of water for every gram of fat processed."

CORRECTION ! Actually the hump on a camels back is merely a clump of fat. Although it fuctions in a similar way since when the body runs out of energy the first thing it breaks down is fat. Also despite common belief most camels do not smoke.

According to a recent study, zebra stripes were suggested to be more of a pest repellant. The researchers tested most (if not all) hypotheses about stripes, and found little consistency between the camouflage, heat management, predator avoidance, and social interaction, but they appeared to find a correlation between biting insects and the stripes. Biting flies tend to bite dark hides, but adding narrow stripes seemed to deter them.
I don't have access to the entire article, but it was posted in Nature under the title "The function of zebra stripes". Authors are Tim Carro, Amanda Izzo, Robert C. Reiner Jr, Hannah Walker, and Theodore Stankowich.

The camel fact is incorrect as well. Camel's actually store their water equally throughout their body. The humps are merely where they store their fat, isolating it to one area to minimize heat insulation.

Large and small breasts make relatively the same amount of milk considering the mammary glands are what make the milk, not the fat surrounding them. Larger breast can indicate a woman has more estrogen. Also, larger breasts tend to sag when a women gets older as opposed to smaller ones (they sag too, but not as noticeably)--this indication of sagging and being able to tell how much sagging is going on can help a man determine if /that/ particular mate is younger or older. Less saggy, large breast likely means younger, indicating better eggs and fucundity.
