camels store fat in their humps not water. it is so they have reserves of energy for a long time, but dont have fat everywhere making them hot in the desert.

According to a recent study, zebra stripes were suggested to be more of a pest repellant. The researchers tested most (if not all) hypotheses about stripes, and found little consistency between the camouflage, heat management, predator avoidance, and social interaction, but they appeared to find a correlation between biting insects and the stripes. Biting flies tend to bite dark hides, but adding narrow stripes seemed to deter them.
I don't have access to the entire article, but it was posted in Nature under the title "The function of zebra stripes". Authors are Tim Carro, Amanda Izzo, Robert C. Reiner Jr, Hannah Walker, and Theodore Stankowich.

How could the Zebra evolve strips to confuse predators? Like how would their biological make up adapt to the visual abilities of a predator? "I can't see color" "oh good, he can't see color so lets change our pattern to non color strips over time" I can understand something like an animals neck getting longer to reach food, that is an apparent problem but I don't see how a creature can adapt in a way that isn't recognizable in such a specific manner (not only did they go with non color but also a strip pattern).

Natural selection. Lets say that having black and white stripes was caused by a genetic mutation in the beginning, like albinism. Since the black and white striped zebras were harder to see, they were more likely to survive and reproduce, passing on the gene for black and white stripes. Over thousands/millions of years, the gene for black and white stripes becomes more common, since stripy zebras can generate more offspring. And that's how a species changes over time (in a nutshell)

Large and small breasts make relatively the same amount of milk considering the mammary glands are what make the milk, not the fat surrounding them. Larger breast can indicate a woman has more estrogen. Also, larger breasts tend to sag when a women gets older as opposed to smaller ones (they sag too, but not as noticeably)--this indication of sagging and being able to tell how much sagging is going on can help a man determine if /that/ particular mate is younger or older. Less saggy, large breast likely means younger, indicating better eggs and fucundity.

The stripes on a Zebra was recently proven to be linked to not predators, but mosquitoes. Apparently, Mosquitoes outright hates drinking blood from an unevenly colored surface, thus giving Zebras a leg-up in terms of not being bitten to **** by ******* mosquitoes..
