How it felt thumbing up your post. Honestly The whole Robin Williams thing is sad, but its just getting thrown in my face to the point where I don't care anymore. Sure the guy was a great actor and from what I've heard a good dude, but when someone has their fist down your throat yelling at you to mourn the guy, you're really not going to.

Too soon...

was it too soon when fj's front page was filled with gifs of paul walker getting in a car crash the day after he died? fj didn't think it was too soon.

I agree. Paul Walker actually died trying to raise money for charity and I couldn't go on FJ for days because they kept posting the same dumb jokes as facebbok/redddit/twitter. But when people try to make fun of Robin in the comments they get negative 500 thumbs.

Yeah Paul Walker seemed like a really good guy. Even though I never saw any of his movies I feel bad that he was so young and died trying to help other people. But I actually think it's more fitting to make fun of Robin because I feel like as a comedian it's what he would want. But I don't really care for making fun of people right after they die.

exactly. people are only like this to robin williams because "hurrrr he made people smile and he was depressed blah blah." whereas people seem to forget that paul walker was into charities and overall a really good guy. wtf does being in certain type of movies have to do with the fact that they died?

There is a MAJOR difference between Paul Walker and Robin Williams.

The day after is a huge difference. Plus he was an action movie star who died in a fashion related to the role he most commonly played. This is a man who made millions smile and for a lot of this site was a significant part of their childhood. And he committed suicide which is seen as something done by only those who have given up on all options and who no longer see any happiness in life. There is a big difference in their deaths, and that is why people aren't laughing at a comedian who felt he had nothing left in life, but death.
