That third one is a pretty good summary of the plot of Dark Souls.

It's funny seeing all these quotes together and figuring each of those people would have hated the others for differing views. Plato was a goddamn lunatic.

That last quote attributed to Napoleon seemed off to me. I looked it up, and it is in fact a quote from a My Little Pony fanfic.

The Achilles quote is not from Homer's Iliad, but from the 2004 film Troy.

The Plato, Mahler, Schopenhauer, Descartes (pic is Voltaire) quotes are also dubious quotes floating around with no clear origins, often attributed to different people.

Bismarck's quote has been slightly edited. Cicero and Marcus Aurelius are correctly quoted though. Latin FTW.

The picture from the Descartes quote looks awfully similar to a certain Voltaire.

I'm not a fan of the second one. I don't think "majority rules" decides the truth, but neither does "might makes right" which is essentially what he's saying.

The Iliad, and it was Menelaus' wife Helen of Troy who started the war by doing to Troy, they had a hard time getting Achilles to play along at first.
