Dude, props for using the puffin right, but dying at forty of a heart attack is not beautiful, we should not celebrate unhealthy lifestyles. These people do need help with self-esteem and confidence and all that, but how much of that trouble comes from a lack of discipline and being overweight in the first place? Its a detrimental idea that its all okay and there's no problem when your blood is a as thick as syrup, its just dangerous.

also I think we should take it more as an addiction, not an actual disease nor a "body feature" as some feminists would like us to think. When you think of it, some people are just addicted to food and are able to eat without being hungry, hell if you ever smoked a blunt in your life or not eaten for two or three days you must know this feeling of being full, and wanting more. Thats not necessarily a sign that you are/will become fat but it can be.

my aunt is obese. she has the most valid excuse than any ive ever heard though. shes a carer and shes always so busy looking after other people that she barely has time to look after herself. she's started to lose weight now, but i think the only reason she has time is the last of her 4 kids moved out.

There are plenty of reasons a person could be obese that aren't laziness.
Plenty of people don't raise their kids right. Is it completely implausible that someone could just be raised without proper information or guidance on nutrition? They'd grow up fat, they'd have to work extra hard to unlearn their eating habits. Why do you assume no fat people are trying?

And when I was in school, from about the age of 8/9, we were regularly explained the benefits of eating healthy, without being honest enough to inform us it would kill us, you know, it's probably not the best thing to tell young children. You can't blame your parents or your upbringing on how you act, especially with weight. I was never really fat, I was quite chubby at one point, and did something about it. I didn't work out or do anything extreme, I was just more careful with how I behaved. I wanted it for myself, I wanted to look at myself and be happy, it took a month. I, personally believe it is about self respect and self improvement. If you aim to constantly be better than you were yesterday, you will lose the weight and become healthier, and if you believe that you are already fine how you are and don't seek to improve yourself, you are worse than lazy, and, as far as I am concerned, useless. Hell, at least lazy people look for an easier way to do things, they seek to improve how to do things in a time efficient manner. The facts are there, it just isn't healthy, and part of self improvement IS health. Assuming fat people aren't doing anything about it, while wrong (There is always someone trying to improve, is justified because the majority of vocal fat people on the internet, are those trying to justify fat being healthy and attractive. Sadly, for them, it just isn't healthy, and while attractiveness is relative, beauty to the eye of the beholder and all that, it is still damaging you. You have precious little time on this planet, and everyone will have regrets at the end, why not try to keep that to as little as possible. Why regret something that you could have so easily changed? It only takes a small amount of work, and a change in attitude, and it will improve, it doesn't have to be difficult, it doesn't matter how long it takes, it's about effort, and seeking the best, and most fulfilling life, and obesity is a restriction to that, that you just do not need. Living life to the fullest and being fat just don't mix. If you disagree with me, that is fine, I don't mind, but what bothers me, is when they outright ENCOURAGE you to be fat, as if it is good. It's not, it's a poor lifestyle choice, but we all have the right to make mistakes, bad decisions, or just deny the truth. So, sadly, both sides of the argument will always remain, but so will the truth, so you always have the option to make the right decision, it's just a matter of whether or not you will.

except smoking is unhealthy but it doesn't affect people as much in terms of attractiveness, and whoever judges fat people and says that fat acceptance is not a valid thing shouldn't smoke or do any hard drugs because that's just hypocritical and they're building a basis on an emotional response.

I'm skinny as **** and I'm a smoker, but I still think that fat people have a place in the world, while most people don't find them attractive or appealing to look at, it's still a big issue for people with actual health issues that can not physically lose weight, they have to endorse hate that is directed towards lazy ones who won't lose weight cause of all the hamburgers they want

Imagine a massive epidemic that affected 90% of the population.

Here's the thing.
Do i think we should be bullying/ ******* with fat people just because they're fat? No.
However the fat acceptance movement isn't about allowing people to be fat, it's a bunch of fat people spreading the word that being fat is a healthy life choice, when it absolutely ******* isn't. They have no proof, or anything except denial, but the movement gains traction because of lazy overly emotional people who want to believe that load of **** .

If someone is fat and they know that it's not health for them, then i say live and let live, but what's happening here is a public health hazard, while i don't like that some fat people may be teased for this point to be made it is, imo, a necessary evil.
In my mind it's little to do with weight or tolerance and everything to do with promoting common ******* sense.

I like the idea. I was in one of the threads and I had them photoshop me to help me push myself to continue my weight loss. I gained literally 100 pounds in pregnancy with no one to blame but myself. I lost 40 going to the gym. But I still need motivation to not be a fatass. So I asked them to shoop me. And it looked amazing. And I have been to the gym every day since.

**** the landwhales and their fat love. Just losing the 40 I feel 100x better. I can't wait to see how I feel losing the other 60. I don't expect anyone to find my fat sexy. I hate it and love seeing the scale go down.

As someone who is sexually attracted to the morbidly obese I can say that this fat movement is a load of **** .

I too want to be really fat but I will never tell anyone that it's the right thing to do or that it's healthy. I'd also never expect most people to understand it's a fetish and it just feels right to me. It makes me feel happy to have a gut that's growing. These fat bitches are not happy or they wouldn't be demanding everyone to love them.

One thing I found a bit ironic awhile back was seeing some fat bitch post how she hated that there was a guy that loved her for being fat. There's plenty of us out there like that (though I like men) and there's dating sites for people who love fat. ******* dating sites. Hell, Grommr is one exclusively for gay men. (yes, I've gone there before)

This whole this is about a bunch of idiots who hate the way they look and rather than improve themselves on it they think everyone else should make them fell better. This is the equivalent of a girl on facebook posting "I'm ugly," for an ego boost but on a larger scale. Because normal scales break under their weight.
