because its way more complicated in that
just the slightest misplacement of your foot can send the ball wide and add extra strokes to your game
you learn posture, hand placement, how to properly follow thru
its not as easy as smacking a ball with a metal bat......
Nah, they just tell you that so you give them your money, just put the ball in the hole. There's no fancy mumbo jumbo about posture, hand placement or follow thru, ball in hole.
It's like getting lessons for having sex, dick in hole, that's all you need to know. The rest comes from experience and searching through the rough for your balls.
its paying for experience
you learn all the bad habits to avoid so you dont just swing and go "ehhh its getting better" while youre actually just reinforcing bad habits that cost you on the course
its up to you to value lessons on anything so if you dont agree you dont have to get em but i can say id be nowhere close to as good as i am today without taking lessons as a kid
also its never bad to take advice from people on anything, sex included
If you can't do it right from the start you will never make in the big leagues.
Not that hitting balls with metal sticks be a talent to born with. But who'd i be to say.
And well habits give you experience.
Golf aint like something you can't learn from experience.
"Golf aint like something you can't learn from experience"
please use real sentences
but yes golf can be learned from experience, of yourself and others
all things in life can and are made easier by past experiences
sports
math
driving
sex
anything
why spend all the time learning what pros have when you can take a class and learn it in no time? if you cant afford it or have no interest in it thats fine
but if you genuinely think you can make it big or be just as good as the people taking classes and youre just going out smacking balls with sticks then youre either a savant and i beg you to speak with pros or youre lying
I'm sorry English ain't my main.
"why spend all the time learning what pros have when you can take a class and learn it in no time? if you cant afford it or have no interest in it thats fine "
But no...money wont make you better. It only gives you chance to have more time to practice said things.Depends on what you are interested in.
You can pick a guitar for 2 weeks and learn nothing.Or you do it for 2 years almost every day.Do learn something.
but yes and no, with both guitar and golf if you practice everyday then you will be better than people who dont practice
but if you take lessons and practice you will be better than most people who dont take lessons (im not saying all because there are people who just naturally suck at things and no amount of lessons will help and there are people who are naturally gifted at things)
