Call me whatever but
can someone hate with me the fact that if a girl does something cool and looks good, the titel is always like "hot girl does x" or "girl does x and looks super sexy"
but if a guy does something it's just like "guy does impressive x" but his appearance will never mentioned nor complimented
Well probably because a guy posted this and thought the girl was hot. I've seen girls on facebook post stuff about seeing hot guys with adorable animals or hot guys do x
yeah obviously, It's not that I judge someone saying out lout if he thinks someone is hot but as for males and females: There is someone doing some insane nice **** and people are like "man he/she looks so hot"
rip
Well, that's how things go
Honestly, i feel its because a lot of pretty women are too conceited in their looks to have any special talents.
Just from my own experiences. Have a few ex's like that..
You look at guy oriented things, so they will of course be posted largely by guys for largely guy audiences. Go to any site that has a female majority and if you guy doing the thing was handsome you can bet it will be mentioned just as often. Women are just as sexual as men and like men when in the company of their own sex they're not shy about it. So what I'm saying is that it's not just a thing that happens to women, but furthermore, who cares. Like I said people are sexual, there should be no shame in it and appreciating someone's appeal isn't a problem when done respectfully. When women remark on Chris Evans' abs I don't say "that man's an excellent actor, you should appreciate him for more than just his sexiness", because I don't care, his skill as an actor is self evident and I'll be damned if he's not a mighty fine looking man. It's important to appreciate these people for more than just their sexual appeal, but also for their talents that they've spend countless hours homing, Ronda Rousey is a beautiful woman, and a great athlete, both are celebrated and she embraces both aspects of her person. QED It's not demeaning unless you see it that way, and to see it that way is juvenile.
Probably because many pretty women end up relying on their looks to get by and are pretty much talentless other than makeup skills. Good for the pretty girls that don't.
Most guys who do cool things may be good, as in slightly above average, looking but nothing to write home about. Couple that with the fact that most of these posts are posted by men, so even in the extremely tiny minority of cases where an exceptionally good looking guy is doing something cool, the OP isn't going to mention the guy's looks because he's not attracted to him.
On the other hand, when a male OP, and the vast majority of OPs are male, posts a pic of good looking girl doing something, he'll mention her looks, because he notices them way more, because they're more likely to get him thumbs and even a good-looking but not out of this world gorgeous girl will get a title like "hot girl does x".
Lastly, good looking women have the world presented to them on a silver plate, unlike good looking men. So good looking women as a group tend to go through life not really developing any other skills. So a good looking with a skill other than looking good is, if not a rarity, then a minority and worth noting.
Somebody posted this in a comment here, but for the life of me I can't find it anymore. Anyway here you go www.nicole-frybortova.com/ Btw. are you Czech?
She's really good at riding a bike wrong. In all honesty good for anyone for being good at anything but there are some things that it's almost a waste to bother to get that good. Like this, she could have put all the time and effort into something actually appreciated by more than just a single room of people or ever something she could make a living at. But no, standing on bikes. I'm certainly not telling people how to spend their time, I waste most of mine watching **** on the internet, I'm just saying, she probably worked really hard at this and all that effort could have gone somewhere else. But again, good for her for being good at something, it's more than I can say for myself.
Fortunately, from a large variety of reasons, there are enough people doing the essential stuff to afford modern society the freedom to pursue these types of hobbies/interests, it's a very nice luxury afforded to us in the modern 1st world countries.
Hence my thousands of hours on PC games
But yea.. you quite clearly point out that you aren't telling people how to spend their time - so no real disagreement with your post
