"Every day you don't workout"
Are there really people who don't understand that working out itself without granting the body it's well-deserved resting period doesn't do you much good? Muscle growth doesn't happen while working out just like long-term learning doesn't happen when you read the stuff... Just saying.

Days without exercise, periods of time between 24 and 36 hours.
This is why you don't do full-body workouts daily since the growth return for the energy you put into it is higher. Easiest way around it is to alternate muscle groups though...

Bro, that was a completely sarcastic comment. I know what a rest day is, my rest days are usually the weekends.

In fact I'm currently losing weight so I can go into the Navy. I've been at it for roughly 5 months and have lost 65 pounds. Trust me when I say I know the importance of a rest day, just last week I had to do simple workouts (Push-ups/crunches) for the last 2 days of my cycle because I pulled a muscle in my leg and couldn't do leg day/cardio.

Good, you'll forgive me for not being certain about that, seeing as a lot of the lifting advice on fj is beyond riddiculous.

Rest day is like chores. Noone likes them but in order to achieve your goal there's no way around it.
