Why don't libertarians support Trump when he has a gift-from-god tax plan for tax-payers and libertarians

I mean look at this, if you are libertarian this is the most libertarian tax plan that any candidate will come close to giving. And if you are a far-lefty who believes in negative-income tax like Shiny does, this is also the closest thing you will get. This is the closest tax plan to helping the poor and the working class. Not even Commie Sanders lays this type of plan down.

Do you like seeing families pay taxes, what is your excuse?

The American Green Party also proposed a negative income tax some time ago.

Milton Friedman - The Negative Income Tax If you take it as a given that leftists will never allow the total abolition of welfare, the negative income tax is one of the more economically efficient alternatives to the current mess we have now.

Also Trump hates international trade and I will never support him. I don't give a rats ass about his foreign policy or his plans on immigration.
Restricting trade is economic suicide.

Fixing societal ills through abolition of welfare would be political homeopathy. A complete overhaul is needed for the current system, and the sheer decrease in overhead would save us more money than any austerity, but in current Congress, any attempt to tamper with the system results in butthurt contrarians trying to sabotage the entire process, if not remove it entirely, just to spite people for some ideological hard-on. The Democrats do the same thing in gun politics.

He isn't restricting trade, he is putting tarrif on trades.

He wants to keep jobs here, I know it will raise the prices but I doubt it will be much. It'll make up for so many people getting a break on tax.

Yeah I was thinking more of the literal definition, like the limitation of goods. But you are right, 99% of the time tarrif does decrease the amount of trade happening.

literal definition?
it literally restricts trade 100% of the time; that's what it's designed to do
