Follow-up question, is it any good? Or at least laughably bad?

It's pretty decent. It can be somewhat easy though, so I suggest starting on the highest difficulty right away.

It's a fighting game first and foremost. You'll be fighting a group called Synthisters, and they are weak to sunlight, as are you. I don't think I'm really spoiling anything there. It's the first thing to happen in the game. So the idea is to remove their clothes so that they burn in the sunlight, just like a vampire. You have 3 clothing items that act as your armor, a shirt, pants, and a hat/headgear. Shoes and underwear can also be changed, but it'll just be a cosmetic change. You have a small variety of weapon types, with each type having many items. They range from CRT monitors, to boxing gloves, to umbrellas, etc. There are also small VN-like segments that affect the opinion that the female characters have of you. This is what's happening in the video.

The game is structured around missions. You basically have free roam over Akiba, but there are load screens between each section. You can fast travel to quickly get where you need, so the load screens aren't that big of a deal.
You're given main tasks that generally only trigger when you have the right girl following you, when you enter the right area, or a combination of both. You're told who should be with you, so there's no issue of switching constantly to figure out who furthers the mission. Then you have the side missions. Most of these are only available for a limited time before they're replaced with a different quest, so be sure to do them as soon as you can, assuming you even want to do them.

The game is available for PS3, Vita, PS4, and PC. The PS3 and Vita versions are basically identical; load times, stutters, and all. It takes a bit to get used to. The PS4 and PC versions are mostly the same. The only difference is that the PC version lacks the toybox mode, which starts a new game with every item in your inventory. Both the PS4 and PC versions run at a locked 30fps and feature more NPC density. The PS3 and Vita versions feel empty as it is, and this is only worsened after playing the game on PC. All of that said though, I would suggest either the PC or Vita versions. PC is the superior option overall, but the portability of the Vita is also a really nice plus. I bought the Vita version on a whim a few month back, and I've recently switched over to the PC version.
