first time i played planetside my friend was telling me how great a pilot he was, immediately flipped it upside down andd it exploded before leaving the base. a lot of fun...
>Based NC holds The Crown
>Getting our door pounded on by filthy Vanu Inferiority scum
>Snipers for days picking off our Heavy Assault troopers before they can get shots off
>Sniping with no bullet drop is so hard right?
>Manage to thin the dozen or so Sunderers parked downhill
>Still swarming in from somewhere, can't figure out where
>Switch to Recon
>Manage to slip by the wall of rape sitting outside the door and go looking for the spawns
> ******* got them parked inside a small sub building somehow
>Must have taken gallons of Vaseline to make them fit in there
>Ping the spawns, sit in Hunter Camo to watch things
>Team can't push out past the sea of purple faggotry
>Suddenly shot
>By a Red Light Assault
>WhattheHigbyisthisnanite.jpg
>Respawn and take a look out on the horizon
>Here come the Terran Republic
>Purple assholes suddenly caught between glorious blue freedom fighters and oppressive fascist communists
>MFW seeing them panic and get decimated
>MFW Red exhausted their efforts just trying to get through them to The Crown
>MFW 3 hours and NC STILL held it on top of an ocean of bodies
> about a year ago
>Be Vanu master race
>Fighting NC at crown
>Dug in hard AF a cert farm for both sides
>In full outfit platoon plus another full platoon from our outfit (about 1200 members in total)
>Outfit/platoon leader calls out an order in outfit chat
>"Lashers everyone"
> 80+ people with lashers hitting every thing that moves for about 3 minutes
> Still take no ground, everyone is having a great time though
>NC yells at us, some are laughing with us, others cry about the lasher
Such is life in planet side. This game is great fun
Now that I know you exist, I have to ask you a question.
I understand the basis of like everything in the game but... I don't know, it still seems very confusing. Is it possible to get more decent weapons without having to buy in game money? pls hlep.
You can get station cash for $, but the default guns are in general the better pick, the rest are preference and situational.
But hey, its all about having a good time with your team, and if you have not joined an outfit yet do so.
It makes the game much better!
All the guns in the game can be acquired via Cert points, the orange ones. It can be tough to find the balamce between buying guns or upgrading character stuff.
You can also do a Trial of any weapon, once per 8 hours.

I guess my job here is done.
I'll add that each gun usually has a situation where it excel better than others and you'll have to learn to compensate for the other situations (with positionement, shooting by salve, etc ...)
This is my Outfit doing some cool **** , an entire platoon of Repair/rearm sundies with two gunners with default turrets, the battlecow herd.
s3x1 - Vanu 4 lyfe
I am 100% sure this guy ran around on his own and had no outfit/squad to play with.
Thats the only way he could have trouble with vehicles and spawn camping. As for p2w, the guns are not even a huge imporvement over the default..
And the preformance is all on him. I gun ultra max and its ******* outstanding.
I recently started a gaming community, we're based in insurgency, vedun, and a few other more "hardcore" shooters, but I have Planetside 2 and started up an outfit just in case I found people who would be interested. If you guys want to join, just hit me up and I'll PM you a link to our discord chat.
You know, if we got a few FJers together and began playing PS2, we could record and make some great OC.
I never said it was. I said that we were used to more hardcore shooters, but we don't have an active planetside 2 outfit because it's doesn't qualify as "hardcore."
I ****** up the wording, but the message was that we don't have an active outfit, but we could if people wanted to join.
You get enough certs in the first 15 levels to mod nearly ever starting weapon (overall best weapons) along with unlocking most of the character upgrades. Air combat is really the only area where new players hold a noticeable disadvantage.
I don't know for how long you haven't played but the first weapon you have is generally considered the best (or at least a good one), if you want to make it really effective you have to add attachement trought.
Also "paid" weapons are all available for free if you save enougth in game money (the things you can have only with real money are skin and xp boost) .
Depend on your skill but yes the first levels aren't very welcoming.
But again this have been slighly improved now there is a continent only for people below lvl15 (I can't say more about it since I haven't tested it)
