How would you explain my inexplicable desire from the age of 4 to lick feet?

No one ever taught me that or have I seen someone do it... The first time I saw bare feet with polished nails close up, I got the inexplicable urge to lick them.

And yes, I just used my fetish as a means to prove that I am not the (complete) result of influences.

The government has been working around the clock since your birth to train to you lick feet. It's been subtle, and it was hard to convince you to do it at first, but they had ways of sending you subliminal messages. Before long, you were a slave to their foot licking will. Soon, their plan will be set into motion. This whole government shut down? It's all a cover up, because soon, they are going to bring you in. They will come at night and take you away. You will wake up in an underground base with military soldiers and all kinds of scientists, people hand picked for this mission. They will send you out to do what you have been living your life up You will finally fulfill your destiny. You will lick feet, and save the world!

It's because we can't help but admire people for their knowledge of how OTHER people have thought. If you quote some famous smart guy, you're immediately respected for knowing a quote from that famous smart guy. If you live by a quote you came up with yourself, and morals you developed by yourself, you're labeled a deviant from the social norm as it was dictated by those before you, or arrogant to suggest you're smarter than someone who has a head start with respect to recognition.
