13 and older is perfectly ok.
In fact, 11 and older is pefectly ok, but they raised it to 13 play it safe.
Most of the things said in this video are pretty ok, is just your traditionalist mentality and ethics heavily influenced by christian religion what tells hat this should not be allowed.
If both partners consent in a relationship, that relationship should be allowed, period. The state can not determine what is "right" and what is "wrong", the state only needs to prevent abuse and harm.
Asking for the removal or lowering of age of consent is not asking for a white card to rape children, only to be allowed to have a relationship with whoever you want if they want you back.
But of couse, you go and start babbling about how some random people asking expressing their opinion / viewpoint means the end of the world is upon us, because you guys absolutely LOVE being terrfied about everything and everyone, and demonizing everyone that does not agre with yu 100%.
In the end, you are exactly like Tumblr. Absolutely disgusting.
And no, i have no interest in children. My only wish towards them is to kickstamp them against a wall.

whatupbiatch (12/24/2015) [-] The problem with the idea of an 11 year old being in a relationship with a 35 year old is that children can't give consent because their brains aren't fully developed and don't have any rational thinking/forethought. That developmental stage doesn't happen until about age 16-18.

arkis ONLINE (12/24/2015) [-] I get what your getting at but your a bit wrong, its not that they CANT give consent its viewed as they do not UNDERSTAND what they are giving consent to and the consequences of their actions because they lack proper foresight or understanding of being taken advantage of.
That being said I'm for revision of child sex laws because as they are now they are dangerously loose worded and that **** ***** up the rest of your life if you are charged with it(which unto itself is a problem for society as it means there are people that can not or are unable to be useful members of society and instead drag it down because the way things are set up). As the law stands now an 11 year old sharing or even just having a picture of another 11 year old naked can cause them to be tried as a sex offender and or child porn trafficker (there are several cases of this actually happening), and quite honestly I see that as absolute ******** , the purpose of those laws are to protect children from predators, not other children. I'm also a bit on the fence with the whole teen having sex with an adult being rape/pedo thing, there are teens that know exactly what they are doing when going for that.
I can't, by myself, formulate some proper wording and conditions that would properly protect people both adults and children, but I still believe **** needs to be changed.
