manofiron (01/12/2016) [-] They have about an even chance to kill each other. Having played both tanks, I can say that it really all comes down to whoever shoots first. Although, it's significantly easier for the Tiger II(H), since the turret front isn't free XP for anyone with half of a brain, and the turret is the only place an IS-2 can frontally penetrate it.

manofiron (01/12/2016) [-] You're right, I must have completely forgotten about that. Test drove the premium IS-2 to confirm, and yes, it can pen the lower glacis, but not with stock shells. The first shell you unlock, BR-471B, penetrated every time at about 30-35 meters away, whereas stock APHE failed to pen every time.
