>download a free to play game
>when i first joined i was given 100 points of the OP money that all games have
>checked the shop
>all OP money items costed more than 100 points to buy
>one of the game features was that for every spek of damage taken in battle
>you must pay gold to heal/fix
>the 100 OP money points also worked
>decided to pay the gold instead of OP points because i might earn more later on so i can buy a cool OP shop item
>last time i played the game was about a month ago
>I was level 87 out of 100
>had like 1000 hours clocked on this game
Not once did i ever get an OP point the only way to get them was to either pay a ******* of money or win the contest thing that came out once a month and their was only 3 winners for.
My almost end game account still has those 100 OP points from when i first started
I cant even use them on repairing my ship because it would cost 10000 OP points to fix
last i checked the developers removed the pay to heal thing so my OP points are even more useless
The games name is Robocraft
Just opened the game after 3 months of not playing
i was correct to stop playing this game
The developers have changed the game into being a pay to win peace of **** with no interesting features
The developers removed some **** that i loved in the game
They removed the ******* main CORE thing that powers the robot because apparently people didnt like it when that part of their bot was shot and they got insta killed
the chat is filled with people complaining about some new features
the steam reviews on the game are all negative
The game was really fun and really cool a year ago
There is literally no "pay to win" feature on robocraft. You can buy bots, but they are nothing that you can't build yourself.
I personally like most of their changes, but the over-simplified tech tree isn't even a tree anymore. Instead of earning stars, you just level up. Which is a tad boring, but it WORKS. Which is the most important, I guess. Mech legs made the game 1000 times better. Was the best update ever.
The recent update with the removal of chasis tiers was kinda interesting. Huge change in the game, but I didn't actually notice actual gameplay differences. And the removal of the pilot seat, I kinda like. It really did suck getting 1-shot by a random stray bullet, sometimes. The new system makes it a little more balanced.
Also, when they wiped the bots, they completely returned every credit you ever spent. And the new pallet color option lets you customize the bot looks fairly easily, albeit you have to be premium to access all the colors (but the colors stay if you lose premium, as long as you don't change them). You can be any color now, not just blue or red, and it was awesome.
I still had a ton of fun with the game, but I have no friends who actually play it, so I stopped playing it again.
I played that for about a week a long time ago.
I could tell I was really ******* good at that game, or everyone sucked, because at least every other ******* game I capped the enemy base by myself.
I remember this one time I started a game and some ****** on my team got stuck on my robot and we stayed stuck together for a full minute, then while leaving he said "NOOOB!!!!" in chat.
He was one of the first to die while I went around the side and won the game by myself.
They have about an even chance to kill each other. Having played both tanks, I can say that it really all comes down to whoever shoots first. Although, it's significantly easier for the Tiger II(H), since the turret front isn't free XP for anyone with half of a brain, and the turret is the only place an IS-2 can frontally penetrate it.
