Because if they vote to be self governed next year, the nordic's have sorta said that they'll consider Scotland as one of the nordic nations(Norway, Sweeden, Denmark and Finland as of right now). At least that's what I have heard. And I for one would love to have Scotland as a part of the club

Its a little silly when you think about the fact that Scotland wants to be considered a separate country from Great Britain and part of the Nordic Countries when it actually shares a landmass with the other countries of Great Britain and has very little real connection with Scandinavia (no more than Ireland and England anyway)

This whole concept is ridiculous, England has far more Nordic, and Germanic, heritage than Scotland which is Celtic. Just look up the Danelaw!
