This is not meant to be funny content, but instead a piece of Funnyjunk history. Back in 2010 I tried getting some of the popular comic makers at the time to get together and build a comic panel by panel. It was never completed, released, or very funny. I just thought it'd be cool to post now since it's Christmas related and most of these comic makers are long gone or forgotten. Here's to them, and to funnyjunks thumb peak, when the top rated content would have 3000-5000 thumbs. Featured artists (in panel order): iAmAmerican, Krystoking, warriorsmith(?),UberAndrew, FelipeRuiz (?), AnimeJay, Fuggle, NoFighting, Acai, Indiekid, Molozonide

(Im not 100% sure about the due credit, since it's been a while and many accounts have been deleted, so just let me know if I'm wrong)

Other well known comic makers at the time (DSend, zomba, mondo, BingTheDinosaur, Ottovan, joeyfisher, iMagnet) either never ended up participating or didn't want to in the first place.

I always thought the thumb peak was around irwincardozo 's time when he would get like 8000 thumbs. around 2012

It's hard to say because some of the top rated comic makers from that time deleted their accounts (such as Dsend, who was huge at the time) but to give you some idea; i was never considered "FJ famous" and my top rated comic had almost 7000 thumbs. I think Dsends top comic had at least 10000, but I don't really remember. ever since admin changed the layout, its harder to find some of the top rated content of all time.
