The first time *History* and *prosperous future career* have ever appeared in the same sentence (even as sarcasm)

I've had this idea for a game that involves history. It would mostly be used in classrooms and stuff, but maybe a history buff or two would buy it. Basically, it would be made of several campaigns (kind of like AoE but without the strategy game part) where you could participate in several big historical events. Underground Railroad? Play as Harriet Tubman and escort of party of escapees to freedom. Valley Forge? You're in Washington's army, you're all freezing your asses off, and it falls to you to get firewood. Don't get shot full of lead or eaten by a bear. The Crusades? Heck, you could play on both sides.

One of these days, man. One of these days.

I was a pretty big gamer as a kid and I still love games to this day, but I really hope my kid prefers books over games, because I'm a complete dumb ass and I don't want that for my child.
