Why are Palestinians obsessed with throwing stones at soldiers? ‘You' d think after the first few people were gunned down they' d give it up.
why do we throw rocks, ahmed?"
because we throw rock, then they bomb us"
rubble is more rocks"
Ewe cannot lose, hakeem"

That they do.

Foreign exchange student says there are at least 4 to 5 kids per household, at any given time, even after children grow up and move out. They are actually encouraged to have more children, and have incentives (produce, animals, currency) for bringing them to local terrorist groups. drop stick in black hole?
User avatar #145 to #136 - vorarephilia (10/19/2015) [-]
In the distant future, humanity becomes a unified and peaceful space faring civilization. Lacking FTL, a ship is loaded with stick and 1000 marines, now having their minds uploaded to a VR sim, and is launched for a eon long journey to the center of the galaxy to drop stick into black hole. However, in this post singularity reality, war is considered unnecessary and wasteful, leaving the marine corp and indeed all warfare, to be considered antiquated.

In their quest to destroy stick, the marines have lost their identity.

stick wins every time.

User avatar #74 to #5 - sphincterface (10/19/2015) [-]
You could try burning the stick, but then the stick turns into ashes and goes up the Marines noses and gets caught in their lungs and causes lung damage.

Stick still wins. Stick always wins.
User avatar #114 to #74 - daniboyi (10/19/2015) [-]
Burning stick = ashes = nutrients for the ground = trees grows = more sticks!
User avatar #128 to #114 - failtolawl (10/19/2015) [-]
>Throw ash on ground
>Tree pops up

aight.
User avatar #129 to #128 - daniboyi (10/19/2015) [-]
well a stick would mean there are other forms of wood-growth nearby, which logically dictates that seeds or other forms of growth would be there as well, which would get nutrients from the ashes.
Unless of course the soldiers wasted their time dragging a stick into the middle of nowhere and battle it there, only to loose.
User avatar #131 to #128 - teratorn (10/19/2015) [-]
He said ashes are nutrients for the ground.
User avatar #89 to #74 - xxbutthurtxx (10/19/2015) [-]
I think technically in this case the marines would win, but with the lung damage done it would be a pyrrhic victory.

I was just likening their situation to Syria, as the Palestinians are over there throwing rocks and stuff instead of running to Europe because it's an easier life than seeking refuge in a neighboring country.
User avatar #21 to #20 - kyouko (10/19/2015) [-]
That's not a comparison at all. Syrians are showing cowardice whilst Palestinians are fighting one of the strongest militaries with rocks. Stupid, maybe, but brave. Nonetheless, the Brits ****** up the region of Palestine, not the residents.

Im not sure 'cowardice' is quite the right word when youre constantly getting indiscriminately bombed by your own government. Even US led air strikes have killed at least 400 civilians by conservative estimates.... Not to mention living under ISIS, al-nusra and what not.
User avatar #29 to #24 - kyouko (10/19/2015) [-]

User avatar #45 to #39 - kyouko (10/19/2015) [-]
I know perfectly well what id do in such a situation. I wouldn't flee, nor would I fight. I don't believe death is the big end anyways.

I don't know everything, I don't claim to. But I know for one thing that these refugees takes flights to Moscow and then proceed to wander into my country, acting like they belong anywhere of their choosing. My compassion doesn't extend beyond family, friends and co-workers, because I can't be added to go around worrying about everything and allow this to make me look big and good.

nice one mate. but history says there are cities there. Palestine was not named Palestine at the time surely. but the area was referred to even in book as old as the Qur'an 1400 years ago.
Israel invaded because its their "holy" land and they want it . what exactly is holy about it if it was an empty desert ?
User avatar #79 to #77 - Haruhi (10/19/2015) [-]
The old testament referred to ISRAEL over a thousand years before the quran was ever written
User avatar #109 to #79 - Ruspanic (10/19/2015) [-]
For all intents and purposes, Israel is a nation of Jewish immigrants founded in 1947. What happened two thousand years ago is of no relevance, since by the time the Jews "returned" there were other people already living there.
User avatar #113 to #109 - Haruhi (10/19/2015) [-]
That is partly true however There have always been Jews living there. Always.
User avatar #116 to #113 - Ruspanic (10/19/2015) [-]
But the number of Jews who lived there was far fewer than the number of Arabs who were living there, until the rise of Zionism + the Holocaust convinced a ******* of Jews to immigrate to the Palestine - in many cases illegally.
User avatar #119 to #79 - vortix (10/19/2015) [-]
that was NOT referring to todays Israel. nice try . and the Jews living in Palestine lived there with the Arabs. it was their home land too. but no no, Israel should come back to claim what they supposedly own hundreds of years ago. Again, thats the same as asking someone for your house that someone from hundreds of years ago related to you supposedly owned.
User avatar #78 to #77 - Haruhi (10/19/2015) [-]

a built city with people living in it. "but but! bring me evidence that the people living there actually built it" .

cites don't grow on trees. it does not matter who a thousand years ago built the city. what matters is who is living in it at the time. and thats not the Israelis. your argument is like " my grand grand grand grand grand grand father might have built this city therefore it belongs to me, a random European jewish guy. " that sure makes sense mate. the Israel refereed to at that time in the is NOT the same as todays Israel you smart ass. Israel today built nothing related to Palestine. they are here to claim the supposed city that their grand grand grand grand grand grand father built.

so please, hurry up and move out of the land of my grand grand grand grand father that he used to own.

#120 to #104 - vortix (10/19/2015) [-]
the point is simple. you don't get to kick Palestinian to claim the land that your Grand Grand Grand father who was a jew who built some of the city. not to mention is the assumption that Palestinian didn't change or build anything in that city being there for years.

Jews lived with Arabs at that time. what does Israel have to do with any of this? todays Israel had nothing to do with Palestine and the jews in it. AGAIN for like the 5th time.

you don't get to come back and claim something that supposedly built years ago. even if some of your ancestors built it.

As I lived in Palestine, everyone I knew could trace their heritage back to the original country their great grandparents came from. Everyone knew their origin was not from the Canaanites, but ironically, this is the kind of stuff our education in the Middle East included. The fact is that today’s Palestinians are immigrants from the surrounding nations! I grew up well knowing the history and origins of today’s Palestinians as being from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Christians from Greece, Muslim Sherkas from Russia, Muslims from Bosnia, and the Jordanians next door. My grandfather, who was a dignitary in Bethlehem, almost lost his life by Abdul Qader Al-Husseni (the leader of the Palestinian revolution) after being accused of selling land to Jews. He used to tell us that his village Beit Sahur (The Shepherds Fields) in Bethlehem County was empty before his father settled in the area with six other families. The town has now grown to 30,000 inhabitants”. Walid Shoebat

“Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people”. Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to the PLO leader Yasser Arafat

“There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity… yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel”. Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council

“There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent (valley of Jezreel, Galilee); not for thirty miles in either direction… One may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings. For the sort of solitude to make one dreary, come to Galilee… Nazareth is forlorn… Jericho lies a mouldering ruin… Bethlehem and Bethany, in their poverty and humiliation… untenanted by any living creature… A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds… a silent, mournful expanse… a desolation… We never saw a human being on the whole route… Hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil had almost deserted the country… Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes… desolate and unlovely…” Mark Twain, “The Innocents Abroad”, 1867

Goliath was not a race with a will to defend themselves, the intelligence to raise a technologically advanced army, and a people who have nowhere else to go.

The Palestinians would not consider their homeland regained until every last Jew in the region is slaughtered. Good luck with that.
The Palestinians will never know peace until they come to terms with the existence of Israel.
What would you call a Native American who declared war on Canada, Mexico, and the United States, demanding that every white, black, Hispanic, and Asian leave so he can have his "pure" Native American homeland? An idiot. If he got his panties in a bunch and started throwing things at everyone, you think the cops are just gonna let him endlessly throw his tantrum at the expense of the peace and safety of everyone else? Nope. He's an asswipe who can't come to terms with reality and he's going to be dealt with.
Israel isn't going anywhere. The Palestinians need to come to terms with that, establish borders, imprison those who would carry on a personal war regardless, and get on with their lives.
User avatar #23 to #15 - heartlessrobot (10/19/2015) [-]
Different scenario.
Native Americans? Guy who lost his house in a bad game of cards.
Palestinians? Imagine a guy who made payments every month, but then the bank kicked him out anyways and gave it to some schmuck.
User avatar #28 to #23 - kuchikirukia (10/19/2015) [-]
The Palestinians declared a war of genocide as soon as the British turned their backs. The Israelis successfully defended themselves. Did the Jews then go on a war of genocide to cleanse the region of those who hated them so? No, they opened their country to them. They've bent over backward time and again trying to get along. And what does this get them? 70 years of, "Death to the Jews."
Oh, Israel is a white Jewish patriarchy, you complain? The Palestinians aren't quite treated equally? Can you blame them when the only thought in the Palestinians' minds is to kill the Jews? Any power they manage to get their hands on doesn't go into making a better life for themselves, it goes into trying to destroy Israel.

Democracy requires its constituents to be adults. In order to ever be willing to relinquish control, you have to be able to trust that the new party voted in will respect your rights. The Palestinians believe that the only right a Jew has is the right to a bullet in the head, though. Don't be too surprised at their reluctance to cede any sort of control when their opponents are whiny, bitter, violent, evil children.

If the bank you went through to buy your house dropped some guy off at your place and told you he lived here now, would you want him out?
When you try to kick him out, he beats the **** out of you and says "It's ok bro, you can live in this closet here", would you still be pissed?

That doesn't make it better. It's incredibely simplified version of a complex crisis. People continue to turn it into a black and white issue and pretend that will solve anything. frustrating people can be so one sided. I support Israels right to exist and not be bombed and worry about terrorism daily but acknowledge that some military operations have been too aggressive and ****** up. Meanwhile, growing up in fear and indoctrinated into hate, while believing the entire race of jews needs to be obliterated, civilians included can explain why young palastinian kids grow up adding fuel to the fire. They strongly believe in what they do and are willing to die for it. Im sure there are plenty of innocent Israeli and Palastinian families who want no part in the conflict and just want to survive and live life, but fear the other side could blow them up at anytime. People who dont consider the dynamics of the situation lose alot of credibility with their opinions. Especially when they spew hateful "facts" they find on their respective biased websites (proisrael and propalistine supporters both do this, simply read our comment section)

1) israel shouldnt exist in palestine / shouldnt expand its borders deeper into palestine
2) palestinians need to stop acting like retards. you give them and others more reasons to hate you
take your complaint to the US and EU
they are the faggots funding them

Don't forget that Palestine has many acres of forest. A friend of mine from Gaza was telling me that a family friend was bombed by a drone while out collecting firewood. They have a good amount to burn, but it's not worth the risk and they use pairs of jeans instead to cool meals.

eh, **** taking sides. The arabs had every opportunity to destroy israel from 1948 to 1968. They failed at every opportunity. So now that Israel is winning we feel so bad for them? Yeesh guys, I know you hate Jews, but I thought you hated kebab more?

It's indiscriminate war, there's no point imposing holier than thou morality on it. If the Arabs win, Israelis will be murdered wholesale. As long as Israel is winning the Pallies will live in an open air concentration camp. So yeah, everyone sucks...

but hey, how about Crimea and Georgia am I right? I bet Tibet is feeling great right now. Pretending Pallies have a monopoly on suffering under a stronger power is ignoring some of the same problems plagueing other countries in the eastern world, eh?
