Bruce had an undiagnosed condition that caused seizures during which his brain would swell. This happened to him only twice; the first time he was rushed to the hospital, and they managed to reduce the swelling in his brain, saving his life. The second time, he was with his friend and co-director (I don't remember his name, unfortunately), when he complained of a headache. He was given Tylenol, and took a nap, during which time his brain became swollen again and he died.
