He had a 1 inch punch and a 6 inch punch.
1 inch punch could knock you back and put you on your ass, his 6 inch punch could throw you back several feet and on your ass, and depending on how you took it maybe knock something loose in your chest.

He was one bad ass human being

That isn't a technique exlusive to Bruce Lee. It's common in Wing Chun. Wing Chun 1 inch punch wood breaking by Kamil - 2 attempts at SAS Martial Arts in London

Kind of, but considering they didn't use Bruce Lee I kind of see it as mostly invalid.

Also, I thought they were doing the one from Kill Bill, which isn't really the same; it's not like Bruce Lee's one-inch punch could shatter your sternum, but that's not the only measure of a punch's "power."

Didn't they actually sort of prove it? They used some monks and they did a one inch punch that apparently did a number on a punching bag.

thephoenix, this man is wrong.

Bruce had an undiagnosed condition that caused seizures during which his brain would swell. This happened to him only twice; the first time he was rushed to the hospital, and they managed to reduce the swelling in his brain, saving his life. The second time, he was with his friend and co-director (I don't remember his name, unfortunately), when he complained of a headache. He was given Tylenol, and took a nap, during which time his brain became swollen again and he died.

the thing with the gun is how his son, Brandon Lee died. It was this whole thing about the gun using 2 different types of fake bullets, one that had primer but a bullet tip, and a blank. They shot the gun with the first bullet, which shot the bullet tip into the barrel of the gun but no further. The FX dude didn't check the barrel after (he wasn't the main fx dude, that guy went home for the day), and loaded in the blank bullet, which had all the gunpowder, but no tip. They shot Brandon with it, and the barrel still had the bullet tip, and the force of the blank shot the stuck tip out with the force of a real bullet. **** hit Brandon in the gut and killed him.

TL;DR Bruce lee's son was killed by a movie gun accident

perhaps it refers to place of residency, based on language spoken.
you do recognize that dialects differ based on regions, right?
so if we could collectively get over this "english=not U.S. 100% of the time always" thing, I feel that our community on the whole would improve dramatically.
