I know, I've been there. The country is quite beautiful. I have a friend who's learning Finnish, and he tells me the same.

However, because of all this, you pay enormous taxes there, so as a tourist, it's incredibly expensive. I paid about twice as much for a hamburger there than here in the Netherlands.

Heard its a lot more expensive than normal among the Scandinavian countries. People in Norway cross the country just to buy food at our supermarket because you can fill 4 bags of food to about 2 bags in Norway.

Think it had to do with Norway getting jackpot on the oil market and found a very big source of oil.

Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a Scandinavian unitary constitutional monarchy whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, Jan Mayen, the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, and the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island.[note 1] Norway has a total area of 385,252 square kilometres (148,747 sq mi) and a population of a little above 5 million.[10] It is the 2nd least densely populated country in Europe. The country shares a long eastern border with Sweden (1,619 km or 1,006 mi long), which is the longest uninterrupted border within both Scandinavia & Europe at large. Norway is bordered by Finland and Russia to the north-east, and the Skagerrak Strait to the south, with Denmark on the other side. It shares maritime borders with Russia by the Barents Sea; Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland by the Norwegian Sea; and Sweden, Denmark, and the United Kingdom by the North Sea. Norway's extensive coastline, facing the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea, is laced with fjords, a renowned part of its landscape. The capital city Oslo is the largest in the nation, with a population of 650 thousand. Norway has extensive reserves of petroleum, natural gas, minerals, lumber, seafood, fresh water, and hydropower.

Eh, to best honest, all the Scandinavian countries can be quite expensive (Norway ranks the top because it's not in the EU, welfare taxes and all that stuff). But I'd say any of the Scandinavian countries will do if you want to move here. Similar cultures, but still special in their own ways. They're all for equal rights, peace and prosperity. And they all enjoy universal health care. I'm Scandinavian (Norway) and I'm proud to be a Scandinavian. I especially love Sweden because of its countrysides. Same with Denmark. Never been to Finland, but I heard it's beautiful. And Finns are really cool people.
