I didn't like skyrim either (mainly because I played Dark Souls before it and the quality between the two ruined it for me) but you don't see me being a prick about it. Let people enjoy what they enjoy mate.
i went to an electronic show the other day and for gaming treadmills they actually have something way cooler i never would have thought of.
they put you in a harness and stand you in a smooth bowl with slippery shoes, you basically glide walk on the smooth surface while the harness holds you in place. Ive seen people get to a full sprint in one.
I think you don't realize how insanely rigid skyrim actually is, it would suck dick with oculus. As well as you would tire out fast from all the walking and swinging around. I'd say at most you'd play like 2 hours before having no more energy.

I could only find one with the wiimotes. I've been searching since your first comment for those ones with the VR gloves, but none were used on a treadmill with oculus rift or any VR headset.
COMBINE IT WITH AN OCULUS. THIS IS THE FUTURE. MAKE ALL FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS AND RPGS REQUIRE THIS TO OPERATE. **** OBESITY IN THE ASS AND CALL IT A ******* CASUAL SCRUB. WE WILL BE ARYAN SUPERMEN. THE STREET FIGHTER FAGS WILL BE MORE JACKED THAN THE CHARACTERS.
Look, I get the whole thing with the vr head set thing and a thread mil. But **** , I would have neck injuries and lose 1302161 lbs from walking so much.
I like just staring one way and moving my fingers.
I enjoy being a potatoe
But then instead of your daily exercise being jogging or other boring **** you could be play one of your favorite games. I agree that games should mainly be as they are but having this as a choice would be amazing.
I just saw this at CES. They are working on an optical version that does not need the harness. They also have figured out how to make it feel like you are going up or down hill. They do that by using an algorithm to make you feel like your center is off and have to stabilize. The guy there said it can also feel convincingly like you are slogging through sand. Infinideck was the company.
