okay fj i need some help. Okay FunnyJunk, so I am in need of some advice/assistance. I am trying to download this Youtube video that was previously a livestream

Okay FunnyJunk, so I am in need of some advice/assistance. I am trying to download this Youtube video that was previously a livestream. Only problem is, it's private. I can still WATCH the video, but if I navigate away, refresh the webpage, or even if I open it in a duplicated tab, it will become invalid. I can't download the video using conventional means. I have no screen-recording software. Hopefully maybe one or two of you might have an idea of what I should do.

in the link, try adding inmp4 before the .com

so just copy and paste the link into a new tab and see how it works. if that doesnt work, you're just gonna have to manually record it from ur screen. sorry buddy

Worked for me. It lets you download the MP4 of the video when you do it. here's the link to do it yourself

looks like you're just gonna have to record your screen while it goes through the video. theres no other way to access it. the website says it cant

Yeah I figured. Since the video is private external websites normally used to download videos can't link to the video.
I think since I am still technically watching this as a (severely delayed) livestream that I am somehow bypassing the fact that the video is private.

Get a screen recording software? I recommend OBS, or Open Broadcaster Software. It can both record to a file and stream to your streaming service of choice if needed.
