I know the feels. My mom's mom passed this August due to cancer so we only had a month's warning. It's been hard. But I just try to remember how cool she was and how lucky I was to have her be a part of my life.

unfortunately i've enver kenw both of my grand dads, and by what my family said, they were real badasses (one was a horse trainer, the other a blacksmith). Now, i've spent my childhood talking with my grandmothers, hearing her stories about life (both lived the big apr tof their lvies at the camp, just moving to the city in their 20's, when they got married). Yeah, i miss the long chats, her great foods and even when they got worried about me ( my family lives ina big property, so tboth my grandmas became really good friends, which was very nice). it makes around 7 years since they died ( died at the same year) and i still miss them

Well, I guess I got lucky to know most of them.

From my mother side I had just one grandpa, I was the only grandson he ever had, I wish he had lived longer since he only reached my third grade of primary school, I could have learned from him about the civil war in Spain, he was always cheerful even if he went throw some of the worst times in this country, I still eat the whertels he used to give me everyday, they say I am just like him when it comes to both diet and ideals.

From my father I had the chance to meet both of them, they were normal people who gave everything for their sons and grandsons, they did well to be honest, I still regret lying about my own beliefs, they were simply glad to have me by their side in their 50 anniversary, now the family is starting to divide and honestly, I don't care, we made them happy and both of them went away happily knowing they did their job.

Something I'll never forget is the promise I made to my grandfather from the side of my mother the day he died, I promised him to be strong (and smile) no matter what. It is going to be hard keeping up to his level, he ran after my cousins and sister when they made me cry... And he needed a ******* cane to walk! I hope I can reach my 80's like he did.
