In 2006, Boss made Tommy Lee Jones their spokesperson for Boss coffee, in particular the rainbow mountain brand, this was the 11th ad in the campaign. TLJ plays an alien with superpowers who looks like TLJ who visits Japan to study the human race, and over time falls in love with the race despite a lack of understanding them.

The best part is that Tommy Lee Jones is so ******* tired of Japan's weird ass commercials, they just incorporate his distant gaze and "so ******* done" type demeanor into his role and BAM! Selling Japanese drinks like hotcakes.

And Tommy Lee Jones gets to express his regret.

Boss coffee is amazing, rainbow blend isn't my favorite, but **** is so good. Its in just about every vending machine in Japan (so pretty much on every single corner).
