OH GOD.

Okay, so this is what happened:

My uncle, a wealthy man, payed $4,000+ to send me to purdue this summer to learn how to code java (im 15) so I could write computer programs and finally earn some money from something I like doing. What I didn't notice is it is 10-15 and the example for said java is Minecraft. now normally I would be fine with this, but then I realized it was 10-15, and 3/4ths of it was 10 year olds. Then I realized something else: minecraft fanboys are almost as bad as /v/tards.
I really don't want to do this, but I don't want to put $4,000 to waste.

tell him straight up it's lame, try to get the money back from the camp and instead find some college student to take you under his wing for a week or two. College kids need cash and teaching young padowans helps solidify their learning.

why do you need $4000 to learn how to program?
there's a ******* of guides online for every language (especially java and c++).
and what exactly does minecraft's fanbase have to do with this?

They are sending me to perdue for ***** sakes, it's retarded and I'm going to be packed in with minecraft loving fanboys who got their parents to pay the $4000 so they could play around in eclipse for 3 hours a day and the other 3 hours play minecraft.
