Being adopted isn't the same as being blood related to your parents. Yes you're legally their child but it's different. They aren't your real child, just in the eyes of the law they are. They do not have your genes.

so what, are you saying the prick who said he didn't care whether I lived or died, traumatized me after crashing on a ******* quad until I was about 16 and my friend got me to get over it, left me at the age of four, called CPS on my sister with false claims, making me lose my nephew and her, her son. Got my older brother on crack, from last I hear anyways, it's only been 9 years since I've seen the bastard, not to mention I have asthma, most likely stemming from having smoke blown in my face at the age of 1-3 before my Mom's friends, who I know as Aunt and Uncle, because they respected my mother enough to not take the title of my parents, took me out of that home and adopted me, should mean more than my "Uncle?" No. Go **** yourself, blood relation doesn't mean ******* **** if you don't live up to it. And while the bastard you think matters because of blood left me as a child, I like to say that I disowned him, considering at the age of five I hated people for even calling him my dad. Tell me, at the end of the day, do you really think a child would ever say, "I love my dad because he has the same nose as me!" NO YOU WOULDN'T! Why? Well let me tell you why, because that isn't what love is, and that isn't what being a parent is.

This is the problem, you're only talking about the absolute worst of one side and the absolute best of the other. That isn't fair. I'm talking about a blood child they love and an adopted child they love. They love both, but the blood relative is just different. It's better.

Well, I suppose I let anger get the best of me, apologize for that.

But to the child, I don't think they care either way, they love the same. And the people I know who are adopted, but didn't have any kind of knowledge till they grew up, seem like they appreciate their parent's a lot more than a "normal" kid. Some of them refused to, at least when first offered, to meat their parents. I told them they should, forgive and forget, if it's what you want, get in touch with them, or rub it in their face you're a good person. Above all, I told them they should find out why they were left up to adoption.

Anyways, I would disagree wholeheartedly, in my experience I've seen an odd closeness and.... "better" love in an adopted child for their parents. Though, that could be since they wanted and most likely planned to have kids, and were ready to be parents. I think the love of an adopted family is better. It feels more... genuine, rather than just "I love them because blood," ya know?

DNA doesn't mean anything. To me it doesnt make you a parent. You have their eyes, so ******* what? A parent is the person who raises you, love you and gives you support. You don't need a bunch of ******* genes to be a mother or a father or a sibling. There are plenty of adoptive parents out there who are a **** tonne better than their childrens biological parents and are worthy of the titles "mom" and "dad".

And? It doesn't make any difference. It's so insignificant, and doesn't stop people loving each other like family. If you put so much emphasis on 'blood' you must be very sad. You're not blood related to friends but that doesn't stop me seeing my closest as a brother figure and loving him.

I'm not saying they don't love the child because they do love the child. I'm just saying it's better to have a kid who is actually your kid and not adopted.

"Better"
Thats your opinion. Its not 'better' to a lot of people. A lot of people see no difference between their adopted kid and their biological and love them both equally with no doubts.

I'm willing to bet that given the choice of having a kid from their own DNA or adopting someone else's kid that most people choose actually having a real child...

Really? Huh, because I want to adopt in the future, I want to help lost children. And I dont give a **** if I push them out a vagina or not. I also know plenty who think the same. So, no. Please don't adopt ever... that poor child.

Well I guess then everything important you're willing pass on to your kid is contained within that teaspoon of sperm you release 9 months before it's born and those years of learning and experiences later, when it is actually a conscious human being, are worthless.

I'm talking about having a blood related child, not wife. I'm not saying the parents don't love the kid. They definitely love the child. I'm just saying it isn't the same as actually being related to the kid.

The word parent comes from the Latin word parere, which means to 'bring forth (into existence), give birth to, produce'.
