The more radical ones I get, but still.

Also, I'm so sorry about the lack of Orc Quest stuff. This shouldn't have happened. The other artists I'm working with are taking forever with their contributions and I can't leave you all waiting this long.

I think I'm just going to solo OQ if it means getting it out sooner. Until then, enjoy this. And once again, I'm sorry.

wrong meme mate.
User avatar #3 to #1 - inuyuru [OP](08/03/2015) [-]
Yea I figured it was either this or confession bear and went with it.
#4 to #3 - holmborn (08/03/2015) [-]
its not really any of them. It would have to some sort of "Accepting ____" picture.
you don't need to make your experiences fit into memes when you want to upload them. A simple image of a church might have been better.

may i introduce 'accepting albatross'

User avatar #12 to #7 - inuyuru [OP](08/03/2015) [-]
It's more like a "Angry Albatross."

I'll keep that in mind.

Don't you know? The real meme is using this meme wrong. So unless you're using this meme wrong, you're using the meme wrong.

how the **** is this an unpopular opinion

you're a good person doing a good thing for your good mother
#64 to #24 - deepterror ONLINE (08/04/2015) [-]
I am atheist, and although I have always protested whenever my father made me go to church, I can understand the reasoning behind op's opinion, and I do not look down on him for his decision.
User avatar #27 to #24 - inuyuru [OP](08/03/2015) [-]
It's unpopular because a lot of people I come across are very anti-religion and I don't get religion hate, but I get biled all over for arguing against it.
User avatar #28 to #27 - lolerbot (08/03/2015) [-]
I haven't seen a single heavily anti-religious post on here for a long time, at least not without it being downvoted into oblivion.
Nobody on here is gonna yell at you for doing good things for your mother.
#37 - partycats (08/04/2015) [-]
So OP, what made you turn from the beliefs of your mother?
#39 to #37 - inuyuru [OP](08/04/2015) [-]
Well, the fact that I generally don't believe in any of the Christian doctrine (let's face it, a lot of it is nonsense) and the fact that I'm gay may have something to do with it.

That wasn't an "OP is a fag" joke, I'm a gay man. Anyway....

I grew up in a family where my mothers side was all Muslim and my father's side was all Christians. It was a toxic environment for a child to grow up in, so as I got older, I drifted away from religion.

My mother tried her very best to keep religion from being a choice, especially since I was involved in a lot of **** between the families that she tried to keep me from. So when she told me she became a Pastor and decided to open a church in Chicago, preach the Gospel, etc, I decided to support her even if I didn't believe in Christianity (or religion in general)

My mother accepted me when I came out as gay, she openly accepted my boyfriend with open arms, inviting him to dinner, **** like that and she's even ok with me being a porn artist (though, that may be in part because I'm a grown man)

TL;DR she supported me and loved me throughout all my life when even my own dad didn't, I figure it's time I give back.

That is super nice of your mom, but how do gay people know they are gay? Is it like puberty strikes and you want the same gender?
User avatar #41 to #40 - inuyuru [OP](08/04/2015) [-]
I've got absolutely no ******* idea.

I experimented in High School a lot, that may have had something to do with it.
#42 to #41 - partycats (08/04/2015) [-]
Hmm, glad you returned the support to your mom. The world is what we make it.
User avatar #43 to #42 - inuyuru [OP](08/04/2015) [-]
Well, she's a good woman. Helps people, tries to reach out to others in need, deliberately preaches in dangerous areas, is always straight forward, doesn't ******** you, etc.

I do what I can for her in return, though sometimes I fear it isn't enough. She's been TOO good to me over the years.

You know the feeling you get when someone's been there for you no matter what happens and you fear that you'll never be able to thank that person enough? It's kind of like that.
#44 to #43 - partycats (08/04/2015) [-]
The worst part is when you feel like you don't deserve it and wonder why they even bothered.
User avatar #45 to #44 - inuyuru [OP](08/04/2015) [-]
Well in this case it makes sense, seeing as how I'm her son. Still.

Hey bro.
I think you need this.
Also, congratulations. I've no doubt Santa will bring you a mug, "Worlds Most Bestest Son".

No. He doesn't. He needs something that doesn't exist yet.

Praise-me leopard?

Cool-story turtoise?

Compliment-fishing flamingo?

You did a cool thing OP, but come on now.
User avatar #23 - elyiia (08/03/2015) [-]
It's because of this culture where it's okay to hate things that are 'privileged'. It's the same as people who hate the rich because they're rich, even if they're operating 100% ethically. Christians are an approved target for hate.

It's pretty ****** up.
User avatar #26 - bakinboy (08/03/2015) [-]

It's right off Stony Island in Chicago. 1133 east 82 street.
#54 - youregaylol (08/04/2015) [-]
its easy to hate and mock christians because it's a "white" religion and therefor oppressive, also you wont have to worry about your head getting cut off.

hating and mocking islam though, that takes real courage, not only will you be called a racist bigot, you also might be aloha snackbar'd, and internet atheists don't want that.
#38 - deavasy (08/04/2015) [-]
Well see the thing about Christianity is that it exists whether you believe in it or not :^)

well that's great
what kind of church?
catholic?
Lutheran?
orthodox?
Anglican?
Baptist?
Anabaptist?
Amish?
Mennonite?
or a church that I don't know of?
