The animation is stilted. Its honestly not a great example unless you know what to look for, but basically instead of things squashing and stretching, they just go in straight lines without changing shape, because they use tweening to move an image along a path instead of drawing it multiple times. This can make animation lose its personality if used too much, like in the case of Family Guy or Johnny Test.

That's been a trend since now pretty much all 2D animation is done overseas.

Oh, most definitely. I guess I worded that wrong. Johnny Test never had any personality to lose. It always used ****** tweening.
