thebaconstripman (11/25/2015) [-] He didn't use any safety tools when he was using the jointer I guess. idk if that matters though, I just remember needing to use handle things to push the wood through the jointer in my highschool woodshop class.

joshkroger (11/25/2015) [-] For the most part his saftey is spot on, but you really shouldn't use a jointer for the long width portion of a board, but rather a planer. Yet he uses a planer for the short width of a board, when he should be using a jointer. Also his hands are directly above the blade, which is a no-no.
But honestly for a professional to do this, it is time efficient and he probably knows his tools well enough to do it without risk.
So no complaints here, just playing the devil's advocate
