>get hired to paint a ceiling
>show up and the ladder isn't quite tall enough so i decide to stand on the top part
>"This is not a step, do not stand on it"
>donttellmewhattodo.jpg
>i get the paint in one hand in a roller in the other and climb up the last step
>i stand on it and start to paint when i hear a low humming
>a slight buzz turns into a dull hum and then a deafening roar
>i notice that light is starting to turn different colors and bending beneath me
>i shout for help but no sound comes out of my mouth and i feel an immense heat around me
>i don't remember passing out but when i woke up i was in a strange room
>the lights were bright yet somehow dark and the smell of copper and sulfur filled the room
>a creature appeared to simultaneously generate and open up a gap through the fabric of reality
>it placed a gooey appendage on my head and seemed to phase through my skull and i saw my life flash before my eyes
>"I am sorry human creature" i heard a voice say in my head "you are trapped here forever with us now"
>it explained how i was sent to another dimension and would live out the remainder of my days as a science experiment and exotic display creature
>I wept on the floor as they inserted devices onto my forearms and around my waste
>"They tried to warn me....it's not a step....it....is.....not a step....."
I had fun reading this. Written well.
Copper and silver smell like evilness, and I know what it feels llike when the lights are bright but yet dim after waking up from passing out
i get the joke but it was just really ******* odd and i wasted half a cigarette staring at the screen while i tried to figure out wtf he's on and how i can get some.
It's the same reason you don't hit a tree with a knife going at a 90. All the resistance will go into the tip and **** up the point. If you stand on the ladder the top has a higher chane to break and you'll fall on your ass, break your hip and be unable to work getting a meager amount of pay that is unable to support you for the rest of your pathetic life.
