Not this shit again

This is a nice store but one their employee' s has a
serious mental disorder. I was speaking to my daughter
and the employee (a young woman) came up and started
yelling at me about how I was my daughter
and how it was triggering her. The young woman is
obviously not mentally tit to be working with the public-
She scared my daughter and behaved very
inappropriately. I won' t be back.

Biologically, yes... "What you really are" doesn't really make sense to be honest... If you're born with a dick, you're "male" yes, but that's just biological. Anyone can choose to express any gender they want to so long as they accept the fact that people might find it weird or difficult to manage; considering pronouns and all.

What you are and who you are are entirely different things.
If you were born with XX chromosomes and a penis, you're a male. That's what you are and you'll never be able to change that.
If you're trans and you get surgery, you will be female on the outside, and you can alter your body to be more feminine on the inside, but no matter how many procedures you go through, your body will always be a male body.
I don't think he was saying that transsexuality shouldn't be respected or considered legitimate. I think he was just pointing out something that is often ignored and blatantly denied by crazy cis-hating fake-trans people. We've all read stories about those people going to doctors and arguing with them over this. I think he was just pointing out that at least these ones aren't 200% nutters.

Yeah, I completely agree. I didn't really misinterprate him either, I just wanted to clarify what I think. Also, I wanna retract my statement about "genderqueer" and other genders being plain "wrong". It was early in the morning and I had a bus to catch, so I hastily made my remark. What I meant was that it is not in their right to expect everyone to be able to use correct pronouns for a gender we are not familiar with. MtF and FtM have that right, because switching to "him" or "her" is much easier, but "xir" and "they"? That's what I mean is wrong.

Doesnt really matter what someone thinks they are. If you are male, you are male. If you are female, you are female. You can go back and forth between 1 & 2, but 1 is not 2, and 2 is not 1. If you are a 1, it doesn't matter how you argue, you are a 1. And vica-versa. You can accept you are a 1, but identify as 'x'. You can accept you are a 2, but identify as 'y'. But x=1 and y=2. Basically if you try to differ from this and make **** up, but there is an origin, it doesn't matter what one thinks they are. They are 1 or 2. Or some pitious amalgamation which is an exception, but the group of fags on tumblr we're talking about do not fall into the 'exceptions' category.

All people sit in varying positions on the sexuality, gender expression, and sex scales. This is actually a very crude, simplistic representation of sexuality as a whole, but it'll do.
The genderqueer movement intends to promote the idea that a person's position on these scales doesn't define that person as a whole, and all people should be able to embrace their individual sexuality without fear of discrimination.

The followers of the genderqueer movement are mostly very young or very immature and insecure. Young and insecure people usually feel the need to assert their independence and uniqueness so it makes sense that they'd be drawn to a cause that celebrates these things.
Unfortunately, it's this very desire for uniqueness that makes the followers so cancerous. It's become fashionable for them to pretend they're gayer than they really are or more masculine than they really are because it makes them seem more 'cool' to other followers.
Due to the childishness of the supporters, the movement has done ******* nothing for anyone who needs it. Instead, it's become a pissing match to see who can come up with the most intricate pronoun system and who has the longest list of triggers. It actively shuns normal people, which in turn spreads more hate than there was in the first place.

In the end, despite their insistence that gender and sexuality don't define you as a person, the genderqueers have proven that gender and sexuality are all that matters.

We really have to stop accepting and perpatrating mental disorders as normal and acceptable. Homosexuality is normal, this is scientifically proven. Yes, those kinds of people have a problem. I don't think transgender and otherkin should be put into the same group. People who believe they are dragons and such are obviously either crazy or attention whores (the same as how it was cool in middle school to claim to be gay.) However, although I also believe transgender people to have something messed up in the brain it's not their fault and should be viewed as acceptable. If wearing a shirt caused you anxiety I would tell you to take it off and I would still accept you even though you choose not to wear a shirt. If you were born a man, but it troubles you to live as a man then it should be acceptable to "become" a woman. I think that everyone has the right to be comfortable.

Talking about transgender identity as a mental illness is a touchy subject because it is often done in a derogatory way. (You are being extremely insensitive in the same way someone with dyslexia used to be considered just plain stupid.) I say it in a way (or try to) that shows I see it as merely the make-up of someone's brain that happens to be different than mine. You can't understand how they feel if you haven't experienced it yourself. I'm sure it not very comfortable to hate your body. So why can't they do something about it?

But that's the root issue, being a man and not feeling comfortable as a man and wanting a surgery to change you into something you are not by nature is a mental illness called gender dysphoria.

Now I'm not condemning these people, but they have a mental illness that doesn't just maagically go away when they have a sex change operation. They will still have the root issue that no matter what they cannot be comfortable with themselves, no matter what. Unfortunately this can lead to a problematic form of psychosis in which the only logical way out (to the affected person) is suicide. This has been documented many many many times in which a person gets the operation but is still unhappy, this chemical imbalance leads them to believe that they are constantly being pushed out and ostricized from society, friends, and family. That leads to depression. That leads to suicide.

So the problem with pandering and accepting is that we ignore the real issue, the illness that is treatable. And by doing so we enable self destructive behavior.

The thing that angers me is people treating it like its something cool. I haven't done much research so I will take your word with it being a mental disorder, what i do know is that it isn't pleasant or cool like some people make it out to be. All these sjw and the likes treating it like a fashion statement it really pisses me off, it means that something which is an issue which for me and many others a constant source of unhappiness is trivialized to the point of being brushed off as attention seeking making discussion incredibly hard.

It is similar for conditions such as depression and bipolar disorder (although these conditions are even more serious and therefore it is much more of a problem). People think its cool to have what are life destroying conditions. In the case of depression these people seem to think that them getting a bit sad every now and again equates to a mental condition that often drives people to kill themselves and that disgust me.

Ummm, I believe I said, "red pinkies be damned" as in I really don't care one way or another. You can check my profile, I never delete comments regardless of how I'm pinkied and my uploaded content is highly bigoted, I openly hate Muslims.

I know and accept the fact that I'm a bigot. However that said I do love intelligent discussion and promote opposing views because I truly do believe in freedom of expression and speech. We disagree on somethings and will see eye-to-eye on other topics. This is the nature of humanity and what makes us all unique and beautiful individuals.

I pretty much agree with you. I don't think that any amount of hormones or chopping my dick off would make me into a woman, I just ain't happy about it.

There are some things we ought to keep to ourselves unless it's someone you really trust and you need to talk about it. I think I know how you feel though; wishing not to become a woman, but to be reborn as one. It's just not realistic. I have also wished to be a wizard, but that ain't happening either.

My local news had sjw choir segments.

It was called The Queer Choir Alliance or some **** . All the people in the choir had the stereotypical SJW garb on.
The guy in charge of the choir had his own segment to talk about how when you meet someone you should always ask their pronouns.
All their songs sucked and were about "how society doesnt understand them" and "there is no such thing as normal".
It was pretty bizarre.
