...so does the dad look for a girl for him to be with forever or what?
this seems like a really stupid idea.

it's probably something like the boy brings home his gf and if the father accepts her she gets the heart

I don't know. He actually admitted to such an arrangement on national television, I'm not sure they'd have enough plastic.

Essentially the plot to Nisekoi. Except the girls have keys and the guy has the heart shaped lock

but what's wrong with someone that doesn't wish to be a man whore? I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity.

It's one thing when the person keeps it to themselves and another thing entirely when that person broadcasts it on TV. Most people won't care what you do as long as you don't shove it in their faces. If you say you've never kissed a girl, you'll either get pity or made fun of(if the listener is a douche). If you shout it out to a bunch of people, you will likely get made fun of because you just threw that information at them when it wasn't wanted.

Maybe he was asked to provide something interesting about himself?

That's still broadcasting personal information on TV. He could have just as easily not said it and say something else.

that's a stupid opinion. People broadcast intimate stuff about themselves all over TV and internet, allowing themselves to be judged, and it's not 'throwing anything in our faces.' This guy is no different. He's saying that he doesn't want to cash out his cock pleasure virginity to someone who won't share it as significantly as him. This heart necklace is just a corny way to represent that to himself and the world. His dad holding on to it is not gay.

You just said it yourself. They broadcast intimate stuff to be judged. Anything you say or do publicly, you are opening yourself to ridicule and judgment. When did I say what he did was gay? He has every right to do what is doing, but he is also being very public about it. He openly said that on TV. That is throwing it out there for everyone to hear. Whether or not you hear it or not is irrelevant. He still said it on TV to hundreds of people. He wasn't forced to say it. He chose to. By choosing it, he accepts criticism of all kinds.
