Think of it like playing Madden or something....and you are playing against your friend. He scores and the replay starts. Only he can stop the replay because he scored. The replay is like a solid minute long and replays the same part like 4 times. He lets the WHOLE THING play. Really. Wtf friend.

Honestly with soccer once you pass the other guy then all you have to do is run faster and that's it, basketball is the same. I can't think of a big sport that can be done 1v1. Unless you count ping pong or tennis

To be fair, we only have one side of the story. I know this is mostly a male-dominated site, so we're going to take the male side, but it doesn't hurt to have an open mind.
There may well have been something like "I'm so lonely, I don't have a girlfriend, I wish you were my girlfriend, I feel like killing myself." It's usually not directly "I'll kill myself if you don't date me," but thinly veiled as "I'll kill myself if I'm still lonely tomorrow, and incidentally, dating you would fix that."
I'm not saying for sure there IS, just some food for thought. Two sides to every story and all.
