molzy (12/07/2015) [-] By looking at some of these vids on YouTube it's just made me realise how much I ******* hate those people who claim modern music is **** , and old music good. There'll be more people doing the same in a couple decades it's just the exact same **** . Music is stupid because no matter what music you like or dislike any single argument you use is hypocritical, and that's completely unavoidable. Unless you listen to nothing but a viking yodler from new zealand that only produces music on a Windows 90 and sells it on floppy discs then every argument as to why your music is better than others is just redundant and hypocritical. Listen to what you want and **** what anyone else says, you will remain passionate for what music you listen to until 6 months later you look back and think 'what the **** was I thinking'. If you have a legitimate reason to backup why you think your music is so much greater than what someone else's, mind you, someone who has lived a completely different life to you with different influences and brain wiring, congrats! Keep it to yourself or people who will definitely agree with you, or become a critique, otherwise, **** off, no one cares. I'm not trying to be edgy or anything but unless you've dedicated your life to studying music, how it's made, it's history and what it's like to compose music, I'm sure me and many others are sick of hearing it. I'm really open minded when it comes to music but the 99% of the opinions that surround it are completely redundant and useless.
I'm open to any opinions that are against any of mine, but I just needed to get that out of my system.
