Gameboy Raspberry Pi... I feel like I could
The Gameboy will always hold a fond place in my childhood
heart. I have always wanted a Gameboy Light, but they were
never released in the us and the ones on eBay in decent
condition are pretty pricey.
Given that, I built my own.
Running for the first time with the modified
LCD screen
In order for this project to work, the LCD had to be to
run off of 5 volts. After several failed attempts at Finding a in,
I lucked on Y.
Yes, it runs DOOM!
Removed the Power regulator and jump soldered to the in
Capacitor. Works like a chann at
Work all done, firing up with the battery for
the first time
I found a pretty cheap external battery that puts out
BAMP which should power it for decent amount of time.
Best Gameboy game?
NES as well...
wnn'
DOOM? Why not!

I made a super nintendo with a raspberry pi, i programmed it to accept custom cartilages, each one with a library of games on it, one with every NES game, another every SNES game, another every GBA game etc. its pretty cool, and wasnt as hard as i thought it would be.

Raspberry Pi's are so amazing. I have one and programmed it to do a few functoins for me, mostly i'm playing with Python 3 GPIO commands. I am planning to switch up to an ATMega 326 and help my friend do his Daft Punk helmet's lighting.

For the fact that you used a raz pi for this project I am greatly impressed,
but you were using the raspian (debian) flavor instead of pidora (fedora) displeases me.
