I never understood why some people when there cars failed or have a MINOR accident on the freeway/highway STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GODDAMN FREEWAY/HIGHWAY WTF.

It's possible to have a car die in a situation in which it can't be moved from the middle of the road. Unlikely, but possible stop and go traffic, your car dies while stopped and can't be started again. Steering failure coupled with a loss of power. Etc. . Accidents can easily kill a vehicle to where it can't move from where it stops, especially newer ones that rely on sensor inputs to run. Priuses for instance will lock up all kinds of **** if you have an "engine" failure. If you have a car with an open diff and break an axle shaft you ain't going anywhere, and it can be surprisingly easy to do that if you ignore an older car's death pleas. The list goes on. Or they could just be pants-on-head retarded, that would explain it too.

I had a situation where I was in the middle of a 6 lanes highway, three lanes on both sides, my car died and even with my emergency signals and turn signals no one let me get over to either side so I rolled to a stop in the middle.
