People complain about EA because their games are ******, incomplete and expensive and require tons of dlcs to work.

And obviously consoles need some popular games to sell well, and Mario and Zelda games are the most popular ones. Plus the order of release dates for those games are messed up. Super Mario 3D Land is what saved the 3DS.

Are you hoping Monster Hunter Online releases outside Asia too? I got into Monster Hunter pretty late, but god damn I can't put it down at all. Gunlance too fun.

I think Monster Hunter Online isn't even being published by Capcom. It's currently China-only, and the Japanese wouldn't stand for that ********.

Everyone bitches that Nintendo repeats itself but when they try something new everyone ***** on it. People bitched about KI:U's controls, no one bought Wonderful 101, and no one is going to buy Splatoon.

smash bros wasn't a "game of E3" at all. they revealed a few new characters and features, but the game itself has been known about for more than a year

splatoon, on the other hand, was completely unknown until e3, and people ******* loved it. i have to agree with twilightdusk on this tbh

That's kind of the issue with Nintendo though. They do have a hard time getting out new IPs, or for that matter getting deals with other developers to make games for their system. The second issue being not so problematic since Nintendo has been attempting to reach out, but it's still an issue. And because the Nintendo fanbase has sectioned themselves off to one or two of their most favorite IPs, where that is Super Smash Bros, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, whatever, it doesn't make for good sales when people aren't apt to buy many games. Which is what most console business models need in order to be successful. Sony has been hurting partly for that very reason as well, people just aren't buying enough games.

Or maybe if you actually supported and bought the new IPs they make, Nintendo would make more of them. But you buy Mario and Zelda. Therefore, they make more Mario and Zelda.

I agree with your point and I can't stand the people who buy the new iterations of the franchise before complaining that Nintendo don't produce anything else, but have Nintendo actually released a new IP that hasn't been utter **** lately? Not trying to ********, genuinely curious ^_^

Yeah, because of ****** costumer support and the fact that they release unfinished games and expect everyone to buy the DLCs to finish it.

At least Nintendo releases a new game and doesn't make 200 DLCs for one game.

personally i love the WiiU, its a very decent console
appart from the fact there is only 8 decent games out so far there is LOTS of room for potential
