Pretty decent job OP.

Though if you want to save a metric ******** of time just use a jigsaw to cut out the main shape. Pic related, its the prop I'm working on right now. Ryuko's half of the scissor blade from Kill la Kill, still have to put the edge on it and detail it though.

Nice, I finally got around to watching that one. Looks fantastic...
And for those who don't know Kill La Kill, here's the original to see how close this one is so far.

Yeah, the proportion changes so much on that sword throughout the show I decided to go with one that reached up to my chest. I'm 6'2" so its about 4'6" or so tall, largest sword I've made so far. (From top to bottom is Tony the Talking Clock, Leonhardt Raglan, Tidus (not brotherhood though, **** that), then Ryukos.

See, problem with that one is I work primarily with a combination of wood and polystyrene (Wood base with polystyrene for the detail pieces) covered in worbla (A thermal plastic) so if I tried it would probably snap at that twisty bit below the orb.

I also know about Tony and Tidus though not enough to recognize that exact sword... but Leonhardt... Is he from Agarest Zero? I gave him a scythe in my game so Idk what his sword looks like really. Or maybe I'm thinking of someone way off, either way, it's 10:25 here and I need to get offline. Night man or whatever time of day it is for you
