People have done that, but the stop a douchebag guys just lie on the front of their cars until they fall off or get too tired to stay. Someone drove 1.5 miles with them on their car before a cop stopped by and was shown the video.
I know a chick who did that to a dude that put his foot on her hood. She only moved her car forward enough to push him off her car and he fell. She went to court for it, had charges pressed on her, had to go to a domestic violence class (female to male violence) and a **** ton of community service. Not worth imo.
I wish, it'd make traffic a lot more enjoyable.
But no, I meant in a situation where someone is threatening to hit someone/driving at someone/nudging someone/etc with a car.
I drive a 2.5 ton vehicle. It's unfortunate, but if a bunch of idiots clambered around my car, I'd have to 1. Wait for them to leave or 2. Wait for the police to intervene. Threatening to hit them with my car, even to nudge them, is serious. That being said, if you're dumb enough to try to block a car or mess with someone in a car, maybe you deserve whats gonna happen to you. To take what you said, if I was waving a gun around and some guy walked up and put the barrel against his head...
there is only 1 party at fault and its the ******* cocksuckers like you who think its acceptable behavior to drive on sidewalks and not expect any ******* consequences for it.
learn to abide by the ******* rules, maybe then the police wont have any problems with you cunt after all.
Hey dip **** they aren't looking for a problem they are making a solution to the problem. These guys care for the public safety and think it's ******** that people are driving on the sidewalk where people are trying to ******* walk! Also they have had guns pulled on them quite a few times. Just go check out their youtube channel its like the third episode someone pulled out a ******* AK.
just install a chain or a post at the end of it, that would be way faster and easier. i know infrastructure is almost nonexistent in russia, but i'd be like $1000 at most
#1, they are aware that they are taking pretty huge risks " ******* " with people, esp in russia when it comes to driving, as shown they are ******* crazy when it comes to driving
#2, they are doing it because, like in #1, russians are ******* crazy when driving, so they are going out of their way and taking risks to try to bring down traffic incidents and make russia safer for everyone
#3, one of the reasons why russian drivers are so crazy is that cars used to be a symbol of money, and thus, power. making car owners think that they are above the law(atleast to some degree) this is reflected in the video as just as siemenz says, the most expensive cars the biggest douchebags, because they think they are above the law
Even though I don't agree with people driving on the sidewalk to cut traffic, these guys have absolutely no right to block them, put stupid stickers on peoples property, harass them and force them to turn around. If these drivers wanted to slam their car into a hospital, they can, but there will be consequences from the AUTHORITIES.
According to Russian Girl Teaching In Japan Who Posted Here A Few Months Ago:
A car is a symbol of status and wealth in Russia. If they hit someone on the sidewalk, it's the person on the sidewalks fault for walking there when a car was driving by. Pedestrians are essentially second class to those on roadways
Russia has a fairly corrupt government (to be fair, I don't know of a single not-corrupt government), but yes, that is a fairly common occurrence, for people to buy their licenses. It used to be, back in the day, that only the rich could afford to buy and drive cars, and they took that attitude with them on the road. That attitude persists today, hence, people driving on sidewalks and now the "stop a douchebag" movement.
Back in the day, owning a car in russia was a symbol of status and wealth. And when you're wealthy, you can do **** all and nobody could do a thing about it. That attitude of arrogance and entitlement still exists today in Russia, so people driving like **** wads is actually a fairly common occurrence in Russia.
