daiemio ONLINE (01/10/2016) [-] You're implying that Killing is easy, and you're right, its not, we all saw that the dude on the buss was bluffing, much like you do with weapons, I would be as hesitant with holding a loaded, and a UNLOADED gun, even if i was unaware it was unloaded.
Had the dude been serious, he would have just pulled the blade and attacked the guys while they were beating on the guy, but he did not, he simply wanted to resolve the conflict, by the age old rule "stop it or else"

it is more likely that these are replica weapons and the katana is made of better steel than it was historically, as well as how the traditional technique of folding the steel has been lost forever, just like damascus steel forging. And the longsword could be made of poorer quality steel than it was historically.
