It's Erik Satie's Gymnopédies playing in the background.
No, it's not. It's two songs: "LIghts of San Francisco" by **** Sazonoff , and "You'll Never Be Mine" by Dmitry Lukyanov.

This is what Erik Satie's Trois Gymnopedies sound like:

They do sound similar, but Satie didn't compose for the sax, double bass, and drums.

It provides quite the contrast to the prog rock and hip hop I listen to.
I usually listen to French classical music when I'm reading books by Proust, Flaubert and other French authors.
