rexnocturna (06/05/2014) [-] Companies could be using metrics in a lot of better ways, but they are more interested in doing this "internet of things" than collecting and using data better. Netflix could have something like a "people with similar viewing habits as yours." You could anonymously message them and maybe you connect. Who knows, maybe you find your future ex wife, maybe you save somebodies life.

I could see this happening, netflix is already the best at using data in my opinion as it's predictions for what I might like are correct more than 25% of the time, which is damn good compared to other sites. If you got all the legal stuff out of the way and got past the initial wariness people would have of the idea it could work.

XY has recently watched Breaking Bad Season 4 and 5 as have you. You loved it, the other person hated the last season. So begins, the Opinion War.

To be fair, no one would watch all the way to season 5 if they don't like the show. Also, season 5 is one of the (if not the) most highly rated TV season of all time, so if you don't like it, you're clearly not human.
