ryderjbudde (04/27/2014) [-] Cordyceps doesn't make ants explode, it grows from their head instead. And it's not just ants. The fungus makes the host want to go to high places, and then the host dies, and the fungus grows out through the host's head, and then it spreads its spores. There's a different species of cordyceps for every species that it afflicts.
