How much is this set up gonna cost for a truly immersive experience? I mean, you need:
Oculus Rift
Omni station
Gun Controller
Decent pair of headphones

Somebody else run the numbers. Jesus.

as long as he's enjoying the game, who cares? I wouldn't care how ridiculous I looked as long as I'm having fun. Let me just remind you that waving your arms at a tv is considered normal gaming now, stop it.

That would probably help a lot of people lose weight.

Not to mention, it would limit us from going on 20 hour gaming binges.

Can we have one for skyrim?

How do you crouch?
also this running pad has to be bigger. As is it confines you to ``I am going to **** my pants`` type of running

Hopefully in the future they will make versions of this that will allow for the full range of human motion (crawling, diving for cover, grappling, etc..). It would expand the game world immensely, especially since attacks would no longer be limited to just shooting and pre-animated melee actions, and you could interact with your environment to a much greater degree. I imagine that such a system would probably be restricted to big arcades and theme parks (and of course the super wealthy) for some time before the average gamer could hope to afford it. Oh well, we have to start somewhere I suppose.
